New Delhi [India] : Dev Pragad, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Newsweek, has been invited to attend the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention as the esteemed Guest of Honour. The event will be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from January 8 to 10, 2025.

Pragad’s invitation comes directly from India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, recognizing his exceptional contributions to global media and his role as a prominent figure within the Indian diaspora. His forward-thinking approach introduced influential digital initiatives, including the renowned Newsweek Rankings, which feature categories like “World’s Best Hospitals” and “Auto Disruptor Awards.”

Furthermore, Pragad has steered Newsweek into becoming a vital platform for global dialogue, hosting high-profile discussions with world leaders such as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
